The following vision of "Looking Up Olive Street, St. Louis, Missouri, in the Year 2010" comes from a 1910 issue of the Greater St. Louis Magazine. Click for a larger image.
Actually not a bad prediction, except that the downtown buildings in the drawing go up to the river. In real life, the area where the lions are is the park containing the Gateway Arch (arguably similar to the Eiffel-Tower-looking thing in the drawing, although considerably more elegant). If this drawing were the result of one of those 1970s 'remote viewing' experiments, I'm sure some people would have called it a hit.
